Well first of all let us start by welcoming you to Colorado. This is a great place to live with a lot of things to involve yourself with.

Here in Colorado we have expansive soils. Proper construction habits of backfilling foundation walls of newer construction is a thing of the past. J&D Inspections will walk you around the dwelling and spend as much time with you as needed to explain care and maintenance tips for your home.

We have basements and or crawl spaces under a majority of our homes here. Because of our expansive soils, there are many different signs a trained professional inspector knows to look at for structural damage that is easily overlooked by an inexperienced inspector and most homeowners. Being new to Colorado, you will find J&D Inspections will educate you and prepare you to be a well informed home owner in Colorado.

Colorado also has many people that are homeowners from other geographical areas of the country. Finished basements are very attractive to people as it can add living space or storage to the home. A do it yourself homeowner may attempt to finish the basement themselves to save money. We find many homes with finished basements that were not constructed safely or properly.

Being new to Colorado, you will appreciate the time J&D Inspections allows to give you a professional inspection, and the education you'll need to be a well informed homeowner.
